Ok, I know the title is “Live Auction”, but there was also a silent auction held in the Underground Gallery. The gallery was packed and was, at times, difficult to move through. The crowd was filled with collectors, artists and volunteers. Several of whom would “camp out” next to their favorite piece. I watched as one woman wrote in her bid on a piece, and a second later a gentleman, who was hovering around that same piece, immediately countered her bid. Hmm, I wonder who took the piece home.
