This photography expedition will be a small intimate group, up to 7 people. Our focus will be street photography and landscape. We begin in Beijing where we will go to a few tourist sites, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, Tian An Men, as well as lesser known areas of the city like the scholars corner, the dirt market and various parks. We will visit a few old tea houses, maybe if time allows we will take in the Beijing Opera. We will plan a trip to either Su Zhou or go down to Fu Ding. Stay in that area for a couple of days and fly back to Beijing, to gather our thoughts, last minute souvenir shopping (if you wish), and preparing for the trip home. This will be a very concentrated trip, so that you can absorb the Chinese culture not whisk by it.
