In April, 2014 I joined Momenta Workshops in New Orleans to learn and understand how to work with non-profit organizations. I was assigned, along with two other photographers, the French Quarter Festival. It was an interesting experience trying to make sense of a mass of people converging on the French Quarter to listen to some awesome music. This is how New Orleans celebrates their local musicians by giving them this large venue to perform. It was wonderful to see all of humanity come together and dance like no-one is watching. The festival is free for the community through sponsorship and donations of money and time.
